Kent, UK - Despite the last few week's SalvoNEWS ads announcing the impending demise of its Winslow yard, Mike Meiris of Site 77, has announced that the reclamation, dismantling and new materials business will continue into the foreseeable future.

Having wound down his old yard at Addington, Mr Meiris, who was planning to take things easier, made connections with another premises in Winslow which, to the relief of his hard-working and erstwhile shortly to become redundant staff, he has agreed to rent.

Mike has been in (and out of) the salvage business a couple of times before, each time returning to the trade. "Yes, I've made more comebacks than Frank Sinatra," he said. The name of the business Site 77 came from the address of the first yard at 77 Aylesbury Road in Aston Clinton.

So a happy result all round, and the new business premises is open 8 till 4 (till 5 in the summer months) Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings by appointment, at Unit 4, Station Road Industrial Estate, Winslow MK18 3RQ. Tel: 07768 155771
