Gloucestershire, UK - Masco Walcot is holding an open day on Saturday 18th February to showcase products, to meet the new team, and to see the newly stocked beautiful Cotswold showroom and garden yard offering a day to inspire design using reclaimed materials.

There is plenty of new stock up at Masco. A great range of aged oak flooring, doors made from reclaimed pine with original stained glass, large selection of decorative radiators, period fireplaces, original hardware, garden ornaments and much more.

Activities include Jude Goss of Lucian Glass discussing the reuse of stained glass and giving demonstrations. Lucian stained glass was recently featured in an episode of Nick Knowles 'Original Features'. David Howard, former head gardener at Highgrove, and recently set designer for the Victorian kitchen garden at Avebury Manor featured in the TV programme 'To The Manor Reborn' will be talking about using reclaimed elements in garden design. Cotswold Shepherds Huts will be displaying one of their reclaimed and renovated original shepherds huts, which you will be able to look around.

As a Guild-commended picture framer, Cath Friend of Emerald Frames will offer guidance on the framing and care of art work. You can bring along old frames and get them refurbished, cleaned and have your pictures reset on the day, and bring artwork for advice on framing and picture conservation. Cath will be show framing options including reclaiming and up-cycled ideas.

Teresa Mills of The Mosaic Place will be showcasing mosaics made from reclaimed, and visitors will be able to make a mosaic, and buy mosaics on display.

There will be entertainment from Patsy Gamble, world class saxophonist.

The open day will take place at Masco Walcot, Aston Down, just outside Minchinhampton from 10am-4pm.
