Fred Dibnah's traction engine fetches £240,000

Cambridgeshire, UK - The ATG reports that the 1912 Aveling & Porter Ltd steam tractor, which belonged to Fred Dibnah fetched £240,000 at Cheffins vintage auction on July 24, selling to Michael Oliver, chairman of Knutsford-based manufacturer Oliver Valves.
