Tenders for reclaimed wood study

By Thornton Kay

London West, UK - Proposed study on the wood and wood products reclamation and reuse sector (closing date for applicants 12th December 2003)

WRAP (the Waste & Resources Action Programme) is a not-for-profit company backed by Government funding established to promote sustainable waste management. The reclamation and reuse sector has a valuable role in providing useful and valuable materials for the building/restoration trade, successfully using material that could otherwise be discarded as waste.

The Wood Programme within WRAP is currently in the process of inviting suitably qualified candidates to bid for work that will evaluate the reclamation and reuse sector for wood and wooden products. The main purpose of the study is to identify options for growing the sector overall.
