Stolen eagles recovered

Northumberland, UK - THE eagles stolen in North Yorkshire in October have now been recovered after being spotted by vigilant dealers in a Salvo theft alert (ta23106). We believe they were sold at Newark from where they went to a London dealer's showroom before an ex-police antiques officer caught up with them. One person has been arrested as a result of the affair.

On the more recent theft alert, we have now attached better photos of the composition stone crane and peacock reported stolen in Essex in December (ta23305). Also we now have a photo of the female figure stolen which turned out to be 'Venus a la bain' after Allegrain. None of these items have been recovered.
