Salvo Fair February round up: Bookings from new faces and old friends

By Ruby Hazael

February Salvo Fair bookings include (from top left clockwise) Insitu Architectural Salvage, The Old Radiator Company, The Green Bough Company and Vintage & Architectural.

Oxfordshire, UK - February saw stand bookings for Salvo Fair from businesses new to the event and from stalwart supporters.

Insitu Architectural Salvage has been busy over the last few years expanding its Vintage Emporium in Manchester, but will find some time to put together a fabulous stand at Salvo Fair 2015 as always. They plan to bring a mixture of architectural salvage, ironwork, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, garden antiques, hardware and old fireplaces. Insitu's decorative painted American tin ceiling tiles measuring 61cm by 122.5cm will be snapped up at 108 each.

Andy and Fiona from Vintage & Architectural from Gloucestershire, who have exhibited at Salvo Fair for many years, are hoping to bring a wonderful polished 19th century brass antique bath with an embossed daisy design. The bath was found in a Bath property and is for sale at 5,400. Their sister business The Old Radiator Company will bring to Salvo Fair a range of restored and polished decorative antique cast iron radiators, such as the ornate Beeston cast iron radiator believed to be from the Beeston Foundry manufactured in the early 1900s, for sale at 1,112.

New Salvo Fair exhibitor La Chineuse from Belgium has had stands at Hampton Court, Battersea Decorative Fair and many others French and Belgian garden shows. La Chineuse sells antique ironwork and antique garden ornament. Another new comer to Salvo Fair will be The Green Bough Company who are based in nearby Henley-on-Thames. Green Bough sells antique, vintage, industrial, salvaged and upcycled goods for the home and garden. Two items that may make an appearance at Salvo Fair are a 55cm tall early 19th century naively carved, folk art pine horse with horse hair tail for 425 and a bull's eye mirror created from an early 20th century French oeil du boeuf window frame for 525.

Salvo Fair will be held on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June with Trade Day on Friday 26th June at Fawley Hill, Henley-on-Thames RG9 6JA.

Any businesses wishing to book a pitch at Salvo Fair can download a booking form from the Fair website or call Salvo.
