London South West, UK - The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair at Battersea Park begins next Tuesday for six days with a specialist themed reception area. The foyer will display antique and vintage textile trimmings or Passementerie with upholstered furniture set amongst garden artefacts and ornament. Foster & Gane will exhibit some quirky 19th century high-backed scrolling garden chairs and a pair of painted American planter chairs and architectural ironwork and garden urns will be exhibited from Brownrigg, Serendipity and Victoria Harvey.
Nicholas Gifford Mead, a member of the Salvo Code, said he was very much looking forward to showing at the Decorative Fair next week, and will be taking a 20th century English York stone bird house, a restored 19th century Japanese model of a bronze crane standing on an upturned gourd carrying a leafy branch in its beak and a pair of 17th century Dutch brass and wrought iron andirons.
Nikki Page Antiques will exhibit a pair of stone fountain lions, a 19th Century French Oeil de Boeuf of grand scale removed from the front of a French chateau, her signature clam shells and a charming 20th century aluminium model of a crane. Nikki Page, Antiques By Design, Gary Wallis and The Antique French Chair & Sofa Co are all exhibiting at Salvo Fair this June in Henley.
The Decorative Fair has compiled a list of its stands that are likely to include garden and architectural antiques. The following list is made up of 22 of the 128 dealers exhibiting this Spring.
Antiques By Design (also Salvo Fair 2015 exhibitor) - upcycled garden objects and architectural and garden salvage used as lighting, mirrors, tables etc

David Levi Antiques - specialist in country antiques and treen (wood wares), usually also has metalware such as small planter and urns, metal shelving, etc
French Country Living - French antiques with outdoor furniture, stoneware, statuary, etc
Garden Artefacts - our specialist in 'gardenalia' - all antique garden implements, planters, plant stands, antique signs such as 'Keep Off The Grass', antique metal watering cans and orchid spritzers - a great fun stand!
Gary Wallis (also Salvo Fair 2015 exhibitor) - antique furniture dealer also selling a good variety of garden furniture, decorative objects, statuary, large planters etc
Georgina Hastie - antiques and vintage glassware mixed with small garden furniture and accessories
Jackdawes - dealer in antique European (mostly painted) furniture and interesting stoneware, planters, garden/conservatory accessories
