Greater Manchester, UK - In the age of Instagram, InSitu is simply heaven. I call InSitu an 'everything that can be saved emporium', selling reclaimed fireplaces, floors, doors, radiators, sanitaryware, lighting, furniture, vintage fashion and homeware.
Founded in 1984 by Laurence Green, this architectural salvage destination is a sign of the style scene in Manchester. A good snoop is underrated, so the thrill of exploring this Grade 2 listed building sent me into salvage selfie nirvana.
The danger is that you have Instagram evidence of all the things you should have bought. So Laurence, if you are listening, I think we would all love to see your quirky 'Table of Tat Tombola' at the Salvo Fair next week. Make my ticket the one that wins those green Beryl bowls…
Do not miss an excuse to Instagram or Tweet your salvage selfie for the chance to win salvage essentials with SalvoWEB before the 29th June 2015. See what makes a #SALVIE and all the useful details here.
