British Columbia, Canada - ON Sunday 11th July, Hotdogs for Heritage took place to raise money for the Vancouver Heritage Foundation. Around 500 people attended the annual architectural salvage fair last year, which sells items reclaimed from buildings in Vancouver. Vitrolite tiles from the old Woodward's building, balustrades from a renovated hotel, 1930's cement ashtrays from the Marine Building were all for sale. Sales were donated to the Vancouver Heritage Foundation which is a registered charity supporting the conservation of buildings in the city.
