Oxfordshire, UK - With Salvo Fair looming ahead, Kevin Green from Reclamation Warriors speaks to SalvoNEWS about business expansion, French living and interesting stock for the upcoming Fair.

Reclamation Warriors is owned by Kevin Green and based in France, two hours west of Paris. Its specialility is French upcycled industrial and decorative pieces.

Since renovating their old 14th century farmhouse, Kevin and his wife decided to develop this passion for reclaimed materials and antiques and turn it into a business. Today, Reclamation Warriors have a shop in England at 'Era's of Style' in Bexhill on Sea and also sell to customers worldwide direct from their website.

'The vast majority of our stock is sourced in France. We go everywhere, from the tip of Brittany in the north to the Cote d'Azure in the south,' explains Kevin. 'There's a lot of travelling involved, but also quite a few long French lunches en route, so there are definitely worse ways to earn a living!'

Recently the business has taken a new direction by supplying items direct to business customers, followed by the launch of their new B2B (business to business) website last month.

'We're very fortunate in that we have great clients! We have met so many interesting people over the years and many of our purchases come with some great French anecdotes.' says Kevin, when describing how much he loves this industry, 'This year we'll be bringing a working Meccano model of the 'Circle of Death'. This was made by the old Meccano factory specifically for the 1958 Christmas window of the renowned department store Galleries Lafayettes in Paris. It's a truly splendid thing!'

Reclamation Warriors will also be bringing a selection of original copper diving helmets and a French 1930s 'Babyfoot' (table football).

"Salvo Fair is absolutely the best show of it's kind and it's the one fair we insist on coming to every year," states Kevin. "It's a great opportunity to catch up with our friends in the trade and also enjoy the great ambience created by the organisers. This year we are particularly looking forward to exhibiting at the new venue.... and can't wait for another ride on the famous Fawley Hill steam engine! Vive le Salvo!'
